12TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS FOR THE STUDY OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN: Gender-based violence and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

Seville, 8 and 9 November 2021

The terms detailed below seek to enable the submission of scientific-technical articles to the 12th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS FOR THE STUDY OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN. It serves as a script to ensure consistency in the papers submitted and facilitate its assessment by the Scientific-Academic Committee of the Congress.

The research papers submitted should focus on gender-based violence in its various manifestations and forms, in accordance with Act 13/2007, of 26 November, on prevention and comprehensive protection measures against gender-based violence, as amended by Act 7/2018, of 30 July. All the papers submitted will be assessed by the Scientific-Academic Committee of the Congress, who will apply the following criteria to select the papers, awarding a maximum of 3 points per criterion:

  • Consistency and relevance of the work to the Congress’ thematic focus
  • Originality of the topic and/or creative approach
  • Conceptual rigour and methodological soundness
  • Clarity of arguments
  • Scientific-technical interest
  • Quality of the sources and documentary references
  • Applicability of the topic addressed to professional performance
  • Relevance of the conclusions

The article with the highest scientific-technical interest will be the winner based on the above mentioned criteria. If there is a tie between papers, the Scientific-Academic Committee will resolve the matter, taking into account, if necessary, the tie-breaking vote of the Chair of the Committee.
